Private classes: 

Host a Pysanky class in your town or with your co-workers, family members, 4-H group, etc.

Class Size Cost
6 to 15 people US$40 per person (ages 12 to adult)
Classes can be held in your home or at a church or community center.

Who is the Ideal Student?

Classes are open to everyone ages 12 and up! No previous experience is necessary. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, you're welcome to join us. 

What Makes my Classes Special?

Each person in the class can choose their own pattern and path.  You do not all have to work on the same design.  If you want to do butterflies and your friend wants to do wheat, then I can make that happen.

Pysanky is more than just art; it's an ancient tradition that connects you to a rich history and spiritual practice. Each egg you create will carry unique blessings, making it a truly special and meaningful experience.

 

Choose Your Pysanky Adventure

There are several ways you can complete an egg in the classes:  

  1. Beginner "Coloring Book" Egg: Start with an egg that already has the initial design drawn in wax. Simply fill in the colors!
  2. Becoming Brave: The egg you work on will have a design penciled on it. You do all the rest!
  3. Intrepid: You choose an egg design from one of my books and complete it to your satisfaction.
  4. Audacious:  Start with a plain egg and create your design from scratch. Live your dreams!
